pollinator-friendly green spaces
green space management advice
professional insect hotels
bird-friendly settlements
theme gardens(butterfly garden, bird garden)
ecological corridors
Local governments and institutions manage large green areas, so they have a great responsibility, but they also have many opportunities to protect pollinator communities and other groups of organisms.
My goal is to provide green area management advice to organizations that are open to it, which primarily serves the living conditions of pollinating insects, taking into account all life stages. This includes the appropriate choice of plants, the creation of wintering, feeding and breeding sites, the use of pesticides, etc.
It is possible to broaden the aspects, favoring other species groups, plan ecological green space management, and develop bird-friendly settlements.
Interesting opportunities are offered by thematic gardens, parks, such as "butterfly gardens" or "bird gardens" suitable for environmental education. In the case of municipalities, it is possible to map, maintain, preserve and develop ecological corridors passing through the settlement.
